Biggest Blowout
It looks like it is time for the Commish to re-rename his team. 4 wins in a row, digging yourself out of the basement and now a 66.70 point blow out. Congrats on the win. At this point, I think everyone playing against the Sausage King of Chicago's Warriors is very very happy.
Too Close For Comfort
WWJD?'s 4.7 point victory over the Trashmouths keeps him in the playoff race (which is not a good thing for the rest of us). I think Jones would admit that this is not the strongest team he has ever drafted, but damn if they aren't good enough to be 8-4.

Another solid week for Team Me. I can only hope, I keep up this momentum throughout the playoffs. it's been a crazy year for many of us. Thank you all for being a part of RZ12! Every year, I look forward to the draft and the crazy fun we have.

Week Eleven or "I'm Not Sure, I'm Not Positive,... There Is No Scientific Truth, But....They Might Be Giants! Let the funny begin.

I really miss the Ska revival. This looks to be authentic 2nd wave (AKA 2 Tone) Ska. If they were a 3rd wave Ska Band, they probably would have been named The Cru-Ska-fix. (ya get it?)
Biggest Blowout Howard and his Girthquake had a couple positions put up decent points, but when your starting QB is the Mentally Challenged Manning Brother, you should know you are in trouble.
At least this is not Blue Line SYNDICATE 12 or it may have looked a little more like this.
Too Close For Comfort Once again, we have a "fairly large gap" on the TCFC category. 9.8 points separated the Commish and his team who shall not be named (despite their 3 win streak) and Chris' Bobbum Man. Both teams put up decent points and Chris was Bye Heavy, but as Master Blaster taught us years ago, Two Man Enter, One Man Leave, or...Two man Enter, Jim J and Tammy Faye Leave.
Highest of the High 2 players out now....What can I say, but it was nice. Things may be changing soon.
If only my team could ever reach the High that Woody has....

Week Ten or Fuck 'em With Their Trains.
You know the drill. Here are a couple videos to get things started.
Biggest Blowout Chris and his Bobum Man decided to take it easy this week and let my The Wrecking Crew back into the hallowed halls of the biggest blowout.
50.40 points. I know Jones and I both support the bye heavy philosophy when drafting but I think he over did it this week with 6 slots on bye. We both had a player put up ZERO points. WWJD? is clinging onto a spot for the playoffs, but who knows if they can hold this spot.
Too Close For Comfort
10.05 points is one of our largest spreads for TCFC. Neither team has anything to be ashamed of. They both put up solid points. A TCFC loss is always a punch to the gut and a TCFC win is always met with a sigh of relief when the final points are posted.
Highest of the High Still not quite sure how he did it , but congrats to Howard and Girthquake for racking up 188.15 points!

Week 10 Showdown The 7-4 WWJD? vs 6-4 FDAU.
Either FDAU stays in the hunt for a playoff spot, or WWJD? increases the gap. Jones is coming off a loss, but Vinny is riding high on a 4 win streak. Yahoo is giving FDAU a 16 point advantage on this one. We'll see.
With all due respect to Dr. Jones' sobriety ( keep up the good work buddy!) and Vinny's closeted heterosexuality, this is how I envision this match up in my head. Whatever they had this dude drink was much more than a Box Of Wine or a Bottle Of Gin.

Week Nine or Do You Believe In Miracles As always, I will start with a couple of videos, but first a quick note.
I do this blog for myself just as much as I do it for you. I really have fun with this and want it to be a fun thing. You all know me well enough to know that I have never been one to participate in Trash Talk. Any ribbing on the Weekly Wrap Up is done with respect. If anything I put in here rubs you the wrong way, please reach out to me with a PM. I want this to be something we all enjoy.
Well, if that does not get you funky and ready to run down the highlights of last weeks games, I dont know what will (Maybe a little Monroe for Vinny and Matt).
He's hovering at spot 5, but the blowouts don't seem to be stopping. It's only a matter of time before he cracks the top 4. I'm not looking forward to week 14 for our second match up.

Doctor Jones had some crazy numbers from his WRs but ultimately 16 points from a kicker put him over the hump.

Week Eight or I Wouldn't Have Benched Payton For Big Ben Either.
As always, let's start things out with a couple of videos to cleanse our wrap up pallets.
First up is a little clip from Windy City Heat. A movie about the making of a movie. Everyone in this movie (with the exception of the guy in the chair) are part of an extensive prank that had been going on for years. The movie is damned funny and would be a great one to watch together on a late night with all you jokers. There would be many times we would have to stop for laughter and rewind to watch the crazy stuff Perry (the guy in the chair) says and does.
Not great but realtively short. I just stumbled upon this clip. It's worth it alone for the slap at 1:00.
Biggest Blowout
I thought I was going to have a shot at this but the gap between Chris' Bobbuman and Howard's GIRTHQUAKE was bigger than the gap in Michael Strahan's teeth.
The 110.85 differential is a season high and may be an all time high for the league (Commish do you have any old stats?). Luckily Howard has been here before, so he should not be too shaken by the loss. (Ha, a pun....shaken.....GIRTHQUAKE......um, O.K.). Chris has to be happy that he is still rolling strong and may just move up a few spots to land in the playoff. 6th place in week eight isn't so bad in a 12 team league off a win like this (especially when The Paper Tigers AKA WWJD are sweating out loss number 2 at fourth place). VINNY. (nothing about Vinny really comes up here, but it always makes him happy when he appears in the wrap up.) Now, let's switch out a little Gap Tooth Grin for Black Tooth Grin. (RIP Dime.)

8.5 is not that small of a difference to really turn the needle (but you need to check out that bench burn to see why this is a TCFC classic moment). It seems like once a year Big Ben Roethlisberger puts enough points that you regret drafting him. You know he was only going to get a start if your #1 was on a bye or got hurt. This was such a week for The Big Man's Team Weng Weng. 102 pts for one position? Heck, that is Russ' whole team on an average week. (not really, I did the math. it would be 119.50625).
Sorry, but that's the best I have.

What can I say? It's an honor to be here again. Only the 3rd time in this 12 team league to have a team hit over 200 points (and also the highest yet this year). 249.45 is nothing to sneeze at. All offensive positions were not only in the double digits, but also in the 200+ range. The season is far from over, so no reason to get cocky and sit back on one's laurels.

As promised Metal Mike's Worst Team Ever VS.....(whoever).
SilverLakeTrashmouth are looking at a bye heavy week and Worst Team Ever are looking at ....welll,,,,they are looking at what may be the team that dethrones The Manhawks as the leagues dog of dog teams. I have to stay neutral and not pick a team, but it would reaaly be sad to see the Manhawks vaulted into the 2nd worst slot....
Damn....I have to wrap up.

Week Seven or How The Fuck is Russ' Team Beating Metal Mike's Team in the standings? Welcome back to the Weekly Roundup. As always, we'll get things started with a couple videos.
How the hell didn't we think of doing something like this back in the USF days? I think it is most likely our lack of easy access to video cameras. Just think if we all had iphones back at school?
Nothing like a little Rudy Ray Moore and Old Dirty Bastard to get you moving. RIP both of these nasty filthy talents.
Biggest Blowout Not to downplay FDAU's win, but beating SVR to a pulp is about as likely as a Vinny making a gay innuendo or Russ explaining the merits of D&D to the hot single chick after he just kicked ass up on stage with The Tim Version. Some things are just expected (like me posting a picture of my freshly cooked Korean BBQ Sesame Curry Cilantro-infused Pork Belly). 75.7 point blow out. Good work FDAU!

A scant 5.9 points kept me at the #1 spot and Mike at #12. I was able to scrape by a win even though Seattle D put up 2 points (any one want to explain to me why I drafted them as the first Defense taken in the draft. What a dog of a pick). The worst part for The Commish is that he would have beaten any and every other team this week. He just can't catch a break.
I have no idea who Louise DuArt is, but she may be worse than St Vitus' Riverdance. A george Burns impersonation? Really? What a hack.
Highest of the High It's always an honor to be here. A solid draft and lack of major injuries helps.
If only my team was as High as James Brown was in this video.
Week 7 Showdown
I have to put the Commish up again (and will do so week in and week out until he gets a win).
He has a 9.5 projected lead Vs. FDAU. We'll see how this plays out in the end.

Week Six or Bobbum Man Triumphant
Here are a couple videos to start things off.
If I did not know that this was the Mighty Rob Tyner from the MC5, I would be laughing my ass off. The hair, the glasses, the jacket, the Zither, but no you need to step back and listen to the song and not be distracted by the Public Access video. This man is in my opinion one of the top 5 front men of all time. I'm pretty sure that this was shot pretty close to his fatal heart attack in '91. RIP Rob Tyner.
Here is Rob and the mighty MC5 about 18 years earlier. Same hair! (How many of us can say that?). I have probably watched this footage 100 times over the last few years and never tire of it. In addition to his hair, he also maintained his voice. One of the many what if bands. (What if they didn't break up, what if they didn't go to jail, what if they had reformed 25 years ago, what if they were all still alive today and decided to play again...) I know 30 minutes of your time is a lot to ask, but I will ask that you at least play this incredible footage in the background while you clean up, do the dishes, cook or do whatever you do after work.
Biggest Blowout It's just Monday at 6:26 and I am already to call this one. It appears as if WWJD? cooled his own team. I doubt anyone else will be able to beat Bobuman's 90.25 spread.
Pretty hard not to win (ne' blow out) when your 1st and 2nd QB both put up over 66 points. Add to that 3 position player that put up 20 plus points (and only 1 single digit starter). All of these factors added up to The Bobums letting WWJD? finally be the Cooler for his own team.

8.7 points can be a mile in our League, but it kept one team in 5th place and the other int the basement. If only The Commish had started J. Cameron over L. Donnell? It's like asking, "What if Bay Pizza added no garlic to their pizzas?" No one knows the answer.

Da 'Trashmouths put up 42.60 points from wide receiver D. Thomas, but also had five starters held to single digit points. The result was another blowout by The Wrecking Crew who had only one position held to single digit points (and it was a kicker). Better luck next week Mushmouths.
On the bright side Trashcans, please remember that your team could never blow more than this video. (I just threw up a bit in my mouth while watching this piece of crap).

If only he had a TE that put up .16 points..... Rumor has it, he woke up today, sat down on the toilet, fired up the RZ12 page and yelled "Monroe!" a la Kirk/Kahn from Star Trek II.
